History

Rhedeont Photography was founded in March 2011 during a business meeting at Busy Bee Café in Raleigh, NC.

At that moment, Kali Rogers and Darryl D. Smith decided to join forces to take the photography world by storm. Both have their own distinct, award-winning shooting styles, so combining them together brings a unique perspective to photography.

After a rough start in Raleigh, the duo decided to head South to Louisiana. It was there they began to establish a solid base and are continuing to establish that base today.

The goal of Rhedeont Photography is to treat every event with the utmost respect, raising the bar high for quality photos. It is the goal to make every event a special moment, and it’s something they continue to achieve.

They have seen their fair share of wedding photos that have made them cringe. Armed with those photos as passion, they treat each wedding as if it were their own wedding, capturing nearly every moment that has value. With both having a strong photojournalism style, this helps out tremendously.

Rhedeont Photography continues to excel in many areas, including portraiture and pet photography. Armed with cameras, Kali and Darryl are ready to take on the world.
